The BIDC will be hosting a two-day training workshop for small business owners.  The purpose of this workshop is to properly educate owners of businessesses at all levels about taxes and the importance of paying their taxes.  It is hoped that this training would alleviate the confusion experienced by business persons since the announcement of the measures in the mini budget and encourage them to file and pay their taxes.

The main topics will be:

  • Impact of the Mini Budget on Small Businesses
  • Importance of Record Keeping & Accounting
  • Why you must pay taxes

The sessions will take place as follows:

Thursday, July 26 - Individuals, Sole Proprietorship and Partnerships

Friday, July 27 - Incorporated Businesses
